I have an interest for informing people about the Constitution, in particular, the checks and balances of the government and the idea that the ultimate power rests in the hands of the people. In fact, I’ve conducted seminars and round table dialogues educating people on the branches of government and highlighting the importance of campaigning for at the federal, state and local levels.

I’m a pragmatic centrist that feels that everybody has worth and that respect and compromise can bring new possibility and advancement to all citizens. As your Congressman, I will diligently operate for you to ensure that each and every resident has a voice and a seat at the table in order to forge community-focused, fiscally responsible options while minimizing government intrusion in citizens’ private lives.

When I worked as Legal Counsel for the Majority Whip of the Pennsylvania Senate, I gained expertise in maneuvering the complex intricacies of government agencies– solving an average of 1,000 constituent issues per year– and researching and drafting legislation, making me the only candidate in this 18th Congressional District race with both a legal history and legislative drafting experience.

Many voters say they want a representative that is fiscally-conservative and socially-liberal– but they rarely have the option to vote for a candidate like that. Currently we have the possibilities to send someone to Washington who is neither a Republican nor a Democrat and who may ultimately assist to bridge the split between the two major parties.

The Libertarian Party of Allegheny and Washington Counties unanimously nominated Pittsburgh attorney Drew Gray Miller to be the Libertarian candidate for the 18th Congressional District Special Election taking place on March 13, 2018. The seat came to be vacant after the resignation of Congressman Tim Murphy.

Drew Gray Miller, a political centrist, will certainly offer Southwestern PA voters a third party option for those pursuing a fiscally conservative, socially liberal candidate, and an alternative to the dissentious politics being forced by Republican and Democratic politicians.
